My name is Dr Amy Austin and I am one of the dentists working in Quali-Teeth Dental Care Letterkenny.
I gained my Bachelor of Dental Surgery at Queens University Belfast before returning home to Derry to work as an associate dentist.
Since graduating, I’ve been focusing on providing high quality general dentistry to my patients while undertaking courses in composite bonding and facial aesthetics.
Composite bonding is an element of minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry. It improves the appearance of the teeth with little to no damage of the tooth structure. It can be used in a range of patients for different reasons.
During my studies I had a keen interest in the facial anatomy, this lead me to complete training with Array Aesthetics to provide anti-wrinkle treatments to my patients. I enjoy seeing the impact these treatments have on my patients’ self-confidence.
In the future I will be introducing Invisalign to Quali-Teeth, which will be an exciting addition to the treatments we can provide here.
